Every autumn, a few customers ask whether the workshop is open on game days. The answer is no, and it is the same answer every year.
The town fills with a hundred thousand visitors. The roads are slow and parking is impossible. Anyone who could come for a fitting would arrive late and tired.
What we do instead
On those Saturdays the benches stay quiet. Hollis builds. Wren sketches new putter heads. I catch up on the notebooks.
On the Friday before, we are open an extra hour. If you need something done before a big weekend, ask.
